Whaass tha all about?
We are a new, Norfolk-based theatre company with a distinctly local flavour, created with support from the Arts Council England lottery project fund in early 2020. We are a devising company who take high quality theatre into rural theatres and community spaces throughout East Anglia and beyond. We combine elements such as verbatim, puppetry and recorded audio to create a unique theatrical experience.
We strive to make work that celebrates the voices of our region and puts the stories of the ‘everyperson’ centre stage. We have found our most interesting and fulfilling work to be that which is fully collaborative. We work with fellow artists and our local communities in order to create a space in which all voices are heard and valued, allowing the everyday experiences, dreams, loves and losses of real people to inspire the stories we want to tell. And how we want to tell them.
