Whas gorn’ orn gal?

We’re working on new, one-woman show ‘LoreFolk’, and we’ll be touring all our favourite theatres and community spaces this OCTOBER. We can’t wait to see you!

Here’s what our first audience thought of our taster sharing in June…

The team behind recent Norfolk Arts Awards ‘24 finalist ‘Horse Play’ bring a transformative one-woman show celebrating East Anglian folktales, as told by you. You’ve probably heard of Black Shuck, but who were the Hibbledibibs of Sheringham, and did Norfolk people ever actually have webbed toes?! We interviewed people across local village communities and The Norwich Book Fair, and we will share their thoughts on local, personal and family folklore. Featuring inventive set design and an uplifting original score…think if ‘Creature Comforts’ did a magical mystery tour of Norfolk!

Directed by: Zannie Fraser

Designed by: Fern Blevins

Performed and Created by: Katie-anna Whiting

Sound Design: Helen Atkinson

Original Music: SkinnyBoy Tunes

We’re so excited to say that our latest show ‘Horse Play’ by Katie-anna Whiting is a FINALIST in the Jarrold New Writing Prize, Norfolk Arts Awards ’24.
